1 dead in fatal crash in Twin Falls County Monday morning

Idaho State Police reported several fatal crashes on Idaho roads over Thanksgiving weekend. They are now reporting another fatal accident in Twin Falls County that occurred Monday morning.

Jerome, ID man killed in semi-truck accident in Twin Falls County

Idaho State Police have released information about a tragic accident Monday morning near Hagerman in Twin Falls County. ISP reported that they are investigating a two-vehicle accident at 10:05 a.m. Monday morning. The accident occurred on US 30 at the E 5400 Road N intersection.

A 68-year-old man from Gooding was traveling eastbound on US30 in a Peterbilt tractor-trailer in 1999. A 37-year-old Jerome man was traveling north on E 5400 Road North driving a 2003 GMC Sierra. He didn’t give in and was hit by the Peterbilt.

The driver of the GMC Sierra died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was wearing a seatbelt and was not transported for medical attention.
