With just a few days in the regular NBA season, it is time to take a last look at the award ceremony. Is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander a castle to win his first MVP price? What other competitions can still be won?

We asked our 10-person NBA voice committee to predict the winner for each individual award. Here are the results:

Who will win rookie of the year?

Outbreak of voting
Stephon Castle, Spurs: 100%

Back-to-back NBA newcomers of the year in San Antonio? A year after Victor Wembanyama took the award home, Castle seems to be the fourth spur that received the top rookie award (Tim Duncan and David Robinson won the prize in 1998 and 1990). The No. 4 selection in the draft of 2024 received each individual votes in our committee.

While the rookie class was overwhelming as a whole, Castle had a strong first year. He leads all newbies in points and field goals that have achieved, as well as stealing, which shows his two-way potential. The future is Hell in San Antonio.

The race of the trainer of the year is usually one of the most difficult awards to predict the number of outstanding candidates per year. Kenny Atkinson led the Cavs to the number 1 of the East in Cleveland in Cleveland in Cleveland. JB Bickerstaff led the franchise to a historic turnaround in his first year in Detroit. After the pistons were completed last season with the worst record of the NBA with 14-68, they won 43 games in the year 200-25 and will go to the playoffs.

In the meantime, Mark Daigniegt led the thunder to a franchise 66 victory, an NBA-best 12.4-net rating and the No. 1 overall sowing in the playoffs. Ultimately, our voters see how Atkinson’s work is rewarded on the side.

If there is a race to keep an eye on the route, then it is for dpoy. After Victor Wembanyama’s season ended early due to a blood clot, the race has been wide open since the All-Star break. In the last days of the season it seems like it could come against DRAYMOND Green.

Mobley, which was appointed the all-defensive First Team in ’22-23, was the defensive anchor for a dominant cleveland team this season. In the meantime, Green has recently done his case (on and outside of the court) as a do-all-all defender of the warriors. Green (-500) Mobley (+400) actually preferred the latest BEGM profit opportunities. With three remaining games for Cleveland and two remaining for Golden State, this could be too close to calling.

Daniels, candidate for DPOY, seem to have a better shot at the most improved player price. After the guard was traded from New Orleans last summer in the third year as part of the Deouunte Murray deal, he had a breakout season in Atlanta, which cited the league in Steals (3.0), but also improved as a scorer. Stephen Curry, warrior: 10%
Darius Garland, cavaliers: 10%

Yes, the Clutch Award is still on the ballot. In his third year, the price tries to celebrate the player who performs the best in high -pressure moments. This season, Brunson leads the league in points per game and field gates per game during the crunch time – defined by the NBA as the last five minutes of a game, with the score within five points. One thing to see: Brunson has to play two of the last three games of the Knicks to calculate the award.

As you may have heard now, this year’s MVP race was one of the best competitions ever – it may not be so close. While Jokić has the best statistical season in NBA history, SGA seems to run away with his first MVP price. Last year’s MVP second-placed Gilgeous-Alexander to the NBA has led Oklahoma City to the best record-and a lead of 18 games against Jokić’s Nuggets in the overall ranking. When he wins, SGA will be the first guard to receive MVP ceremonies since James Harden in 2018.

Interestingly, we asked our panel about who should Win the MVP Prize (not who will Profit), the results were much closer: 60% for SGA up to 40% for Jokić.
