2025 NFL DRAFT: Ashton Jeanty favored to go to Raiders; Is that the right train?

Ashton Jeanty should probably thank Saquon Barkley. And Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs and Joe Mixon.

In the NFL season 2024, mostly, the response to return. Several veteran freeste agents signed with new teams and had enormous effects. Barkley helped his team up to a super bowl victory. And Jeantys Timing couldn’t be better.

With the year of return in the heads of the NFL teams, Janty enters the NFL design. It is located in a rare aircraft in which he is best attributed to the design of 2018 since Barkley. He is number 2 in the last major board of Charles McDonald from Yahoo Sports.

Although Running Backs had an increase last season, it is still behind many other positions, as the NFL teams appreciate it. This means that the No. 2 view in the design has practically no chance of reaching second place overall. But is it worth the sixth overall selection for a reconstruction team?

Ashton Jeanty preferred a total of 6th place

The NFL design of draft for Janty at BetMGM reflects many bills. JANTY is the favorite that goes in total rank No. 6, a selection of Las Vegas Raiders currently own, and the second favorite on the list has a pretty large gap:

JANTY: -145

Jalon Walker: +700

Will Johnson: +750

Mason Graham: +1000

All other players are +1500 (15 to 1) or more with the sixth choice.

NFL probabilities are not always predictive, but the Jeanty opportunities reflect what the market believes that the Raiders will do the probability (although the chances of winning of BetMGM are selected for the selection of Pice Jeanty, and theoretically, Raiders No. 6 could act against a team that takes JANTY).

It is an interesting situation. Even the most optimistic Raiders fan would probably admit that the team is still in a reconstruction phase. You have a new head coach in Pete Carroll, a new quarterback in Geno Smith, and give a lot of defense about the defense after you have lost several starters in the free agency and play in a division with three other playoff teams from last season. The Raiders were 4-13 last season and although they could be better with the quarterback upgrade, the AFC West is a long way to be competitive.

Does a running back change, even one who is as dominant as Jeanty, that?

Will the Raiders Jeant take?

Jeanty was a force in State Boise, a worthy Heisman Trophy candidate who would have won in most years, but had the misfortune to act against Travis Hunter’s historic two-way season. Jeanty hurried last season for 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns and Boise State made College Football Playoff. It was one of the great college season of all time.

It was not just the production for Jeanty. It is explosive with great balance and has a special ability to break duores. There is a good reason why he is in the Barkley class of prospects.

Jeanty will probably be the best available player if the Raiders go to the clock in the design. And it is difficult to accuse you for taking Jeanty based on it. But it is also difficult to see the Raiders as a return from the competition. The common thread between Barkley, Henry, Jacobs and Mixon is that they all went to 2023 playoff teams and did better. They did not go to a 4-13 team and increased it to the post-season. This is a lot to ask for a return. Barkley was the second choice for the Giants, had more than 2,000 scrimmage of Yards as a rookie and won the NFL offensive rookie of the year, and the Giants still only went 5-11 this season.

But the Raiders have to start somewhere. You nailed the selection of the Engen Brock Bowers last season. You have improved with Smith during the quarterback, even though it is in the bourgeois class of the NFL quarters and probably not rising to the next level. If the Raiders can do the next designs correctly, Jeanty may still be at his peak -and still in his rookie deal -if the team can compete with the chiefs, Chargers and Broncos in the division. That would be the dream anyway.

Carroll had his greatest NFL success with a crime under the direction of Marshawn Lynch. Previously, his best teams at USC Reggie Bush and Lendale White formed a dominant backfield. This could be important in the way of thinking of the Raiders when it comes to Jeanty. And there is no doubt that Jeanty would help a Raider’s offensive that was absolutely incapable of running the ball last season. It’s just a question of how much he would help.

The Raiders still have many holes to fill. She will probably not bring a response to the playoffs this season. But Jeanty is not her normal response view.
