“28 Days Later” finally returns to the digital world this week!

With 28 years later Many horror fans have been wondering why the hell they can’t watch Danny Boyle’s film since he’s starting a brand new film trilogy next year 28 days lateR at home. Physical media copies of the influential infection horror film have been out of print for some time, and the 2002 film was also not available for digital streaming in any form.

In other words, they were literally unable to watch legally 28 days later at home without owning a physical copy of the film, which is a big problem for those who don’t own a physical copy. Luckily, Sony stepped in to resolve the issue. They announced this morning that the original 28 days later arrives in time for the release of the sequel on digital 28 years later!

Luiz HC celebrated two decades 28 days later here on Bloody Disgusting in 2022. In his anniversary retrospective he wrote: “I believe that 28 days later is the absolute best zombie film since Romero’s original Dead Trilogy. Not only is it still an unforgettable frightfest, but its human elements have aged like fine wine over the years.”

28 years later will be released in theaters by Sony on June 20, 2025.
