3 teams are guaranteed to lose in Week 15 of the 2024 NFL season

There are just four weeks left in the 2024 NFL season, and as Week 15 begins, the playoff race is becoming increasingly heated in both conferences.

However, some teams have it easier than others. The Week 15 fixture list features many incredible, high-stakes matchups, but also many games where the outcome is all too easy to predict.

As always, we face the difficult task of exposing ourselves to the possibility of being featured on Old Takes Exposed. Nothing is Strictly speaking Guaranteed in the NFL and every team can win every week. Everyone gets paid to play. With that in mind, there are a handful of games that I’m more confident in than others this week.

Let’s take a look at three “guaranteed” winners in Week 15.

1. Washington Commanders (away game vs. Saints)

The Washington Commanders and New Orleans Saints both have young starting quarterbacks, but the New Orleans Saints bring Jake Haener into the game this week while Derek Carr is expected to miss the equalizer more Time.

Earlier this season, the Saints brought in Spencer Rattler and that obviously didn’t work out well for them. Now they will face a Washington Commanders team that is fighting for a playoff spot and is coming off a bye week.

This will also be a homecoming for cornerback Marshon Lattimore, who was traded from the Saints to the Commanders earlier this season. The Commanders are pretty conservative away favorites in this game at 7.5 points and I think they could easily win by two touchdowns.

2. Carolina Panthers (home game against Cowboys)

For the first time in 100 years, the Carolina Panthers are favorites in a game. Okay, it’s only been two years, but it’s a long Time since the Panthers were actually considered winners of a game. Even though they are only 2.5-point favorites at home, the fact that they are favorites is an indication that Vegas has been paying more attention in the last month.

The Panthers could have easily won their last five games in a row, but they’ve had some bad luck lately.

The Dallas Cowboys have been playing decently lately given all their injuries, but I really feel for this Panthers team and the way Bryce Young has been playing lately. I don’t know if it will be a close game or a blowout, but I’m pretty confident the Panthers will win this week.

3. Baltimore Ravens (away game against Giants)

The Baltimore Ravens are 16.5 point favorites over the New York Giants this weekend. As exciting as it is for Tommy DeVito fans to see the popular third quarterback in the lineup, things won’t go well for New York.

The Ravens are coming off a bye week and are tied with two other teams (Chargers, Broncos) in the overall standings in the AFC Wild Card race. The Ravens also can’t give up hope of winning the AFC North this year at this point, but they also won’t be able to mess around with their Wild Card position.

This will most likely be one of the easiest wins of the weekend. The Ravens will take care of business and I think we might even see some backups in the game in the fourth quarter.
