Here are 30 photos from Vans Warped Tour history to celebrate the festival’s 30th anniversary return in 2025.

It would have been difficult to predict Warped Tour’s evolution after its initial launch in 1995.

The tour’s inaugural year featured a top-heavy lineup with No Doubt, Sublime and Deftones as headliners. Then there were a series of acts that are hardly remembered today. (Shyster? Mung?)

Warped eventually grew into a summer touring juggernaut with even more bands and stages. Over time, the line-ups became more diverse and names like Eminem, the Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry were added.

And while these stand out among a broader base of music fans, those more familiar with Warped Tour will always associate them with a number of bands that they would be guaranteed to see every summer, if not every other summer.

Punk bands such as NOFX, Pennywise, Less Than Jake and The Bounce Souls continued to form the backbone of the traveling festival before the tour ended in 2019.

As Warped prepares to return three times to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025, we take a look back at some of the bands and fans who have been on the tour over the years.
