5-star OL Michael Carroll signs with Alabama Football’s 2025 recruiting class

Alabama Football has another offensive player from IMG Academy on the team.

Michael Carroll, a recruit from the Bradenton, Fla., program, has officially signed with Alabama’s 2025 football recruiting class, UA announced Wednesday.

Carroll is a five-star signee according to the 247Sports Composite. He’s also the No. 1 interior offensive lineman in the country, standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 315 pounds. With his addition, the Crimson Tide has officially signed the 17th overall recruit in the 2025 recruiting class.

Alabama offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic is listed as Carroll’s primary recruiter. Carroll had 27 offers, including Georgia, Miami, Colorado and more, according to 247Sports.

Carroll joins players like guard Tyler Booker and former tackle JC Latham as IMG Academy products. Latham became a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and Booker appears poised to follow suit as a high-round draft pick.

Carroll is one of the standouts in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class. He is the second-highest prospect behind quarterback Keelon Russell and is considered the No. 2 prospect in 2025.
