5 taken to the hospital after pedestrians with trucks in downtown Boston – Boston News, Weather, Sports were met

Boston (WHDH) – Five people were taken to the hospital after a truck hit several pedestrians in the city center of Boston on Tuesday afternoon, according to Boston’s fire brigade.

Two people, including the driver, are in a critical condition and three more suffered, according to the deputy fire chief Steven Shaffer, minor injuries in the crash in the KNE -Street. According to the hospital, three of the patients were brought to the Tufts Medical Center.

The box truck was on the side, near Tora Ramen, the Otaku gift shop and the great wall kitchen supplies in the wall. Rümmer was distributed on the floor.

“The technical team, when they see the taxi there, they actually had to cut the tip of the taxi and pull it back to get the driver out,” said Shaffer.

Several ambulances, fire engines and police cruisers were at the scene, and the area was sealed with police adhesive tape.

Shaffer said the structure of the building was okay, but the inspectors should visit the website.

“It was a bad accident and hopefully these two people will do it,” said Shaffer.
