3. Meet a police officer at the bus stop: The 3rd District host of the Montgomery County police authority will meet a police officer at the bus stop this morning. The officials welcome the residents, chat and distribute free donuts from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Nah Hill bus stop in Silver Spring.

4. Police drone program expanded: The district’s police drone program is now working in Bethesda on Tuesday. Bethesda is the fourth location for the drone as a first responder program, which was started in the city center of Silver Spring in 2023 and later extended to Wheaton/Glenmont and Gaithersburg.
