Andy Cohen knows he wouldn’t have been cool with Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ comments about Margaret Josephs’ son.
After the friendship between his wife Teresa Giudice and Josephs fell apart, he reached a breaking point in the season finale RealHousewives of New Jersey On August 4, he said: “I hope her damn son suffers the way I suffered, the way other people in our family suffered dealing with a woman like that.”
Now, Cohen, 56, shares his thoughts on the headline-making comments during an appearance on the latest episode of Bitch Sesh: A Real Housewives Breakdown.
“My view on them housewives “A little bit has changed since I became a father,” he told hosts Casey Wilson and Danielle Schneider. “Just because I pay attention to different things…you know, I look at it a little differently.”

Cohen admitted that raising his children – son Ben, 5, and daughter Lucy, 2 – would be a deal-breaker for him.
“But man, let me tell you something,” he explained. “If someone I didn’t care about said one of my children’s names, I would… turn as ‘soft yellow’ as I normally am, that’s what it would take for me.”
“Danielle Cabral’s button is ‘Don’t talk about my husband’s kisses,'” he added. “Mine would be, ‘If you mention my children in an unfavorable way.’ I assume this is completely normal.

On the RHONJ In the finale, Ruelas and Giudice plotted how to confront Josephs after Ruelas claimed she lied about calling her son at work to threaten him. This came after the friendship reached its peak when Giudice accused the designer of reaching out to Ruelas’ ex and spreading lies on the Internet.
Two days after the episode aired, Ruelas posted a lengthy statement on his Instagram Stories apologizing for the hateful comments toward Josephs’ son.
“The finale was very difficult for me to watch and I wanted to discuss it with all of you,” he began his post. “After watching the finale, I was disappointed in my upbringing of Margaret Joseph’s son. The reason he was brought up in the first place was because I was falsely accused of calling (Margaret’s) son at work, which is simply not true.”

“For the last year, Margaret kept spreading the story that I had called her son at work and I had to deal with it even though I knew I was being lied to,” he claimed. “Still, I know better than to raise someone’s child and I deeply regret that, so I would like to apologize and acknowledge that I was wrong.”
Ruelas went on to say that while he felt like he was defending himself and his loved ones while recording the cast’s “Last Supper,” he now understands the implications of his reaction.
“There was a lot of toxicity on the show that affected everyone on the show,” he concluded. “Behind the scenes we are dealing with a lot of frustrating things and it has been very hard for our entire family and my children who have been really affected by everything that has happened at the hands of certain people.” Two wrongs don’t make a right and I “I deeply regret saying what I said.”
