December 2024: News, Gay and Streaming on Netflix, Hulu, Peacock and Prime Video

It’s that special time of year when I have to accept that neither Hallmark nor Lifetime are going to give us a Christmas movie this year, and that’s okay, it would have been mediocre anyway! But please check out our list of 43 Lesbian Christmas Movies – there are a few new films of varying levels of quality making their debut, and I’m sure there are some older films that you haven’t checked out yet.

More importantly, This may be the worst content month when it comes to queers in a long time! But there is at least one (1) show that I am really excited about. (Not a good deed) This war film will also be available on VOD. Do you think Ruby Rose and Jojo T. Gibbs can be in something like this without being queer? If you find out, let me know, because I don’t expect this film to be anything other than, as they say, “my thing.”

December 2024 from Prime Video

Nip/Tuck S1-S7 (2003) // December 1st
This very strange show about the two respected plastic surgeons in Miami and their practice was truly a time and milestone in Ryan Murphy’s development as a showrunner. There are tons of incredible guest stars, queer characters – including some really bad trans representation – and it’s a wild ride into a world of crazy narcissism that offers seven full-fledged seasons to stretch and win, fail and fail again, back when that was still quiet was one thing.
