Did Atlantic City Mayor “Party Marty” benefit from the “NJ League”?

An Atlantic City elected official wrote to us:

“He (Marty Small) makes money from the League of Municipalities.”

Whether Small benefited directly from a party he hosted on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 remains a mystery.

Even after studying this for nearly two weeks, we still can’t say for sure whether this was a personal event for Marty Small… or an official Atlantic City government event… or a combination of both.

At Smalls, we certainly hope it was an official event of the city of Atlantic City… because that’s how Small promoted it… by writing in his ad with his photo… Visit the Atlantic City brand name and logo of the New Jersey League of Municipalities:

“Official Atlantic City Kickoff Event.”

This is what we know:

The mayor, known as “Party Marty,” hosted a party during the New Jersey League of Municipalities.

The title of Smalls’ party advert was:

Visit Atlantic City – New Jersey – Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Sr.

Small used the “Visit Atlantic City” font, logo similarity.

Things get even stranger when Small shared the following in his social media post: Small personally marketed VIP areas, including alcoholic beverage prices…as if Small was the party’s account manager.

Marty Smalls’ many critics believe that he may have personally benefited from this event.

I’m not so sure. However, the Atlantic City Council should investigate this matter.

For example, how much did the city of Atlantic City pay for the use of the space at ACX1, formerly The Pier Shops at Caesars?

Questions in the interest of the public must be asked and answered as Small advertised this as the “Official Atlantic City Kickoff Event.”

That’s why we’re committed to making this an official Atlantic City energy.

However, if Small somehow mixed personal and official city affairs, that’s a whole different story.

Small has more than his share of problems these days, as he’s officially charged with numerous child abuse and witness tampering crimes.
