Alabama football has rattled off five straight wins over Auburn University since 2020.

Kalen DeBoer picked up his first Iron Bowl win as head coach of the Crimson Tide against Hugh Freeze.

The Crimson Tide improves to 9-3 and now awaits the hand of the College Football Playoff committee.

Alabama had four turnovers – including three lost fumbles – against the Tigers; However, it bounced back and ended the regular season with a 28-14 win at Saban Field. DeBoer became the second coach in Alabama history, joining Frank Thomas (1931-46), to win nine games in his first season. Thomas posted a 9-1 record in his first season with the Tide in 1931.
