It lived up to the hype. It definitely did,, DeBoer explained, via BamaOnLine. “He found his time to do plays. At times we pulled back but he didn’t force it, but when the time comes he can make those plays. He often made it difficult for us to defend ourselves today. Again, I thought he threw the ball very well.”

DeBoer talks about Milroe’s resilience

Despite some rough patches during the game against Auburn, Milroe bounced back when Alabama needed him most and led the Tide to a decisive triumph over their despised opponents.

The Crimson Tide’s quarterback led a 75-yard drive into the end zone right after an interception. Additionally, Milroe led the team on two touchdown drives after a lost fumble.

It wasn’t Milroe’s cleanest game; He had an interception and two lost fumbles, but the QB made the plays his team needed and secured victory in a close matchup during NCAA Rivalry Week.

We talk about the resilience of our team. I think that’s a good word for him,, DeBoer added something about Milroe. “It’s hard to be the quarterback of a football team. I think it’s hard to be a quarterback of a team and a program that expects to win every game. The ball is often in his hands. I know There’s always a play or two you want back, but he just stays the course.

That’s how it was I’m just really proud of the way he played tonight And he continued to be resilient and just stay the course and help us win the football game.”

Alabama hopes this win is convincing enough for the selection committee college football Playoffs.
