After suffering three losses already this season, it was no secret that the Alabama Crimson Tide needed to win against the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive.

Not only did Alabama need to do this to keep its hopes alive, but the Crimson Tide also needed to get some results elsewhere to improve those chances, and that’s exactly what happened when both Clemson and Miami suffered defeats.

With just one more championship week left, what are Alabama’s CFP chances after the Crimson Tide’s win?

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI), Alabama currently has a 30.1% chance of making the College Football Playoff as of Sunday, December 1st. Additionally, ESPN’s FPI kept Alabama ranked No. 4 nationally.

The Crimson Tide will officially learn their current ranking when the CFP rankings are released Tuesday night.
