Spider-Man had much better webbing years ago, and we need to bring it back as soon as possible

Spider-Man has developed a variety of superhuman abilities over the years, but he will always be primarily synonymous with his Weave – which was once much more powerful and versatile than it is commonly portrayed today. Unfortunately, Peter’s networks have experienced a significant downgrade over the years. With Peter becoming more important than ever, Marvel should really bring back his more absurd and spectacular arc.

The 8 Spider-Man Deaths action that begins Amazing Spider-Man #61 – written by Joe Kelly, with art by Ed McGuinness – represents the perfect opportunity for the webslinger to once again live up to his nickname by bringing the character’s web powers to a renaissance. In the story, Spider-Man will act as one of Doctor Doom’s most loyal servants after Doom takes over the planet.

There is no doubt that this new suit – given to Peter Parker by Doctor Doom, who sends him on a mission to defeat powerful deities known as the Scions of Cytorrak – is endowed with several magical enhancements in addition to the power of self-resurrection will be. While Marvel will likely focus more on exploring the magical side of things in the coming year 8 Spider-Man Deaths Action, This would be a perfect opportunity for Marvel to return to the web Spider-Man had years ago, which is far superior to the one he has now.

No matter what dangerous situation he found himself in, a few clever uses of his webbing were enough for Spider-Man to save the day.

Spider-Man’s webbing is absolutely iconic. Spider-Man’s weave is stronger than steel and can easily hold back some of Marvel’s most powerful characters. It lasts for hours and there are countless variations of it, even a form that ignites when sprayed, making it deadly to most symbiotes. But over the years, Marvel has stopped allowing Spider-Man to be truly creative with it, instead just letting him spray it on his enemies without any thought or imagination, which has now become pretty visually monotonous.

Early in Spider-Man’s story, there were few problems that he couldn’t solve using his webs. Spider-Man used it to create parachutes, rafts, skis, clubs, barriers and even shields. No matter what dangerous situation he found himself in, a few clever uses of his webbing were enough for Spider-Man to save the day. It was fun to see what absurd creation Spider-Man would come up with next, but over the years this seems to have fallen out of favor for some reason. It’s a shame because it was one of Spider-Man’s best powers and Marvel absolutely needs to bring it back.

Bringing Spider-Man into the mystical side of the Marvel Universe is a great way to get to know the character. The most interesting aspect of giving a character a new ability is often seeing how those new abilities interact with the old ones the character already had. This is shown when Peter, in his new magic suit, Dr. Strange-like symbols used, but with a mesh pattern. It’s a great design choice, But Marvel needs to go further and really explore what someone like Spider-Man could do with magic in addition to his traditional power set.

Doctor Doom, Marvel’s new Sorcerer Supreme, has recruited Spider-Man for a dangerous mission that requires a surprising mystical upgrade.

With all of this magical power, Spider-Man could use it to enhance his own tissue, thus regaining the fantastic tissue he had in years past. The ability to easily rope in a gangster is definitely cool, but it’s even cooler to be able to create almost Green Lantern-like constructs out of webbing. Especially if Marvel borrows ideas from the video games, Spider-Man’s physical strength is no match for characters like the Hulk or Juggernaut, but hitting them with a giant, magic-infused web fist might be enough to make them think twice when fighting him.

The nets make the hero

Spider-Man’s abilities can be so much more than what they currently are. It seems that Marvel has downgraded Spider-Man’s powers more and more over the decades; He isn’t quite as fast as he used to be, isn’t nearly as strong as he used to be, and his spider-sense doesn’t seem to help him as much as it did in his original incarnation. His tissue is perhaps the best example of this – Not only has it become less powerful, it has also become less versatile and innovative than its potential.
