pecan, custard, apple and pumpkin pies; Any of our holiday favorites are the perfect ending to any Thanksgiving feast. If you haven’t ordered your dessert yet and aren’t ready to make it yourself, you’re in luck. According to Liliha Bakery’s Connie Wong, Liliha Bakery has a wide variety of items to choose from.

“We have all of our Thanksgiving items available immediately,” Wong explained. “People come for our cakes, we have pumpkin, custard and Dutch apple which are very popular.”

She said they have seen an increase in cake orders since Lee’s Bakery in Chinatown stopped making Thanksgiving cakes last year, and she estimates Liliha Bakery will sell over a thousand cakes this holiday.

“It was definitely busier,” Wong said.

She said you can pre-order a pie by Wednesday evening to pick up on Thanksgiving or just show up. But she warns that they may sell out, so get there early.

“We will be open between 6 and 7 a.m. depending on which location you are visiting, but we will be up bright and early. “All of our bakers will wake up early to freshly prepare all of our products,” Wong explained.

Liliha Bakery also offers tons of other delicious baked goods like their seasonal pumpkin bread, pumpkin chiffon puka and their famous butter rolls.

You can even take a fruit cake with you.

“It’s in preparation for Christmas, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have it for Thanksgiving too,” Wong said.

According to Kevin Yim, Zippy’s vice president of communications, Zippy’s will also be open at 6 a.m. Thursday to pick up a last-minute cake.

“Thanksgiving Day is our busiest day of the year,” Yim explained. “Pumpkin pie and every other type of dessert will be available at Zippy’s all day long. However, I would recommend going sooner rather than later as we tend to sell out of all of our pumpkin pies throughout the day.”

After all, “What would Thanksgiving be without pumpkin pie?” said Yim.

But if you’re not a cake lover and want to add something cool to your dessert menu, Baskin Robbins is bringing back its iconic turkey cake, complete with sugar cone drumsticks and caramel praline frosting, filled with your favorite ice cream!

Call in your order as soon as possible for pickup on Thanksgiving as this sweet bird is in limited supply this season.
