Meghan Trainor says she can’t smile after ‘too much Botox’: ‘I messed up’

You live, you learn and move on with a smile. Unless you’re Meghan Trainor and your regrets are a tiny bit too much Botox. In the November 20th episode I’m working on it On the podcast, which she co-hosts with her brother Ryan Trainor, the pop star said she “can’t smile anymore” because she has “too much Botox.”

“I need help,” joked the 30-year-old. “I messed up.” To emphasize the point, Trainor then looked into the camera and tried her biggest grin. “See, this is as big as I can smile.”

Her honesty didn’t stop there. Trainor also spoke about her desire to have a breast job after having two children, as well as her unfortunate experience with lip job, specifically the “lip flip” procedure. “Someone convinced me with my small lips that if you did a lip flip, put (Botox) right over your upper lip, you could have a nice flip on your upper lip,” she said. “It wasn’t true.”

Luckily for Trainor, the freezing effects of many “tweaks” – particularly neuromodulators like Botox – become less obvious over time; And this “wear and tear” has no bearing on the long-term benefits of Botox when it comes to preventing wrinkles from appearing in the first place.

Meghan Trainor is far from the only celebrity to speak publicly about her cosmetic procedures. Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande and Olivia Culpo are among the dozens of women in Hollywood who are having a more honest dialogue about cosmetic enhancements. And while not everyone regrets their procedures, some, like Trainor and Courteney Cox, have “learned lessons” from their public tryouts.
