Each episode of this animated anthology was inspired by a different video game, borrowing concepts and characters from titles like Pac-Man, Armored Core, Spelunky, Warhammer 40,000 and more. “Secret Level” was created by Tim Miller – who has some experience with this sort of thing, having previously created the Netflix anthology “Love, Death & Robots” – and features an all-star cast including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Keanu Reeves and Temuera Morrison , Kevin Hart and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. While each installment takes a different approach, series lead director Dave Wilson gives each a similar CGI sheen, aiming for a photorealistic rather than cartoonish look.
