How much snow will Mass., NH get? – NBC Boston

As we move forward this Monday, brace yourself! It’s cold in the Boston area. High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s and lows will be in the 20s Monday evening under mostly clear skies.

The cold will continue into Tuesday, with highs in the upper 30s under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Our forecast gets a little interesting from Wednesday evening into Thursday. A low pressure area originating from Canada will descend towards New England. With cold air already present, it will snow in parts of our region and rain in other parts.

Boston will likely be on the borderline of rain and snow for most of this event through Thursday morning. But as the storm system comes to an end, some snow squalls could move toward the coast.

Central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire have the best chance of seeing snow accumulations. It’s a little early to tell how much snow there will be, so stay tuned.

High temperatures in Boston will be in the low 40s on Wednesday and Thursday. The wind will be blustery at times.

On Friday it will be dry and cold with maximum temperatures near freezing.
