The win keeps them in second place in the Southeastern Conference, behind undefeated LSU, which the Crimson Tide also joined No. 19 in the Top 25 AP Poll.

“I thought we played a really good 35 minutes of basketball. I wasn’t happy with the first five (minutes), but we really liked our reaction after that. We were dominant on the glass. We continued to work on our rebounding. That was us.” 21 of 23 hits at the free throw line was one of those things that wasn’t always what we expected, so we’ll keep working on getting five or more in double figures, I thought Bank came in and really played Well, Zaay (Green) with a near triple-double, Essence (Cody) who didn’t have the greatest first half but I liked their response with a double-double in the second half “I can’t say enough about our leadership group and how, how tough their reaction is every day to come back and go to work, and that’s what we need to have tomorrow as we get ready to head to Cal,” coach Kristy Curry said after the win.
