Kalen DeBoer and Greg Byrne discuss why Alabama should be in the CFP

After a 28-14 win in the Iron Bowl, Kalen DeBoer was asked how he expected Alabama to be in the College Football Playoff.

“Everyone knows our schedule. I know we beat four top-25 teams all year,” DeBoer said.

Alabama has a 9-3 regular season record, with its biggest win coming against Georgia.

Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne also took to social media on Monday to voice his opinion on why Alabama should be in the College Football Playoff.

“Not all schedules and conferences are created equal,” Byrne explained in his post.

Byrne went on to explain how Alabama has worked to add more challenging non-conference games.

For now, the Crimson Tide will wait to see where the CFP selection committee will officially place them on Sunday.

Last week, Alabama was ranked 13th before Miami and Clemson both lost.
