The McLaren 750S was named “Performance Car of the Year” by Top Gear Magazine at the annual Top Gear Awards. McLaren was presented with the trophy at the awards ceremony in London on November 26th.
The award is presented to the winner of Top Gear Magazine’s annual Speed Week event, where the publication’s best-performing cars of the year come together for a week-long road and track test. The 750S was tested at the Navarra circuit in northern Spain before taking to the scenic and challenging roads in the Pamplona region alongside other Speed Week finalists.

The 750S was crowned Speed Week winner after impressing the Top Gear judges, who loudly praised the 750S’s capabilities on road and track, particularly its tremendous power, brilliant driver feedback and connection, engaging Character and strong quality.
These achievements formed the basis for the 750S’s victory, as expressed by the Top Gear writers:
