DFW Airport is receiving flights to two new Asian destinations from international airlines

Flying to Asia might be a little easier as two airlines offer direct flights to DFW International Airport.

EVA Air, a Taiwanese airline, is adding a route from Taipei in Taiwan to DFW five flights a week, while Air India has reportedly added routes from New Delhi (DEL) to DFW as per its winter schedule.

DFW already offers flights to Tokyo, South Korea and Shanghai through Fort Worth-based American Airlines, as well as Japan Airlines and Korean Air.

EVA Air is a member of the Star Alliance, which includes United, among others. Dallas will be the seventh U.S. passenger destination, but a statement from an EVA Air spokesperson suggests DFW will also be used for cargo.

“With frequent business activities and convenient connections to Central and South America, the new route is expected to meet high passenger and cargo requirements,” the statement said.

Service begins November 3, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, an Indian government agency similar to the Federal Aviation Administration, has released its approved winter schedule, which includes new Air India routes to and from New Delhi and DFW up to seven times a week starting in January.

Air India did not respond to a request for comment.

EVA Air has not announced which of its jets will fly the new route, but according to Air India’s schedule, the new routes to DFW will be flown using Boeing 777s.
