New Jersey man arrested after girlfriend beaten to death – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in New Jersey have arrested a 26-year-old Pleasantville man after his live-in girlfriend died of multiple blunt force injuries early Monday, according to officials.

According to police, Boris Lainez-Rosales was arrested shortly after officers responded to a report of a woman at his home on the 100 block of Edgewater Avenue in Pleasantville, New Jersey, at approximately 1:54 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 who didn’t respond.

That’s where officials said first responders found 25-year-old Leslianet Quintana-Betancourt of Pleasantville after she suffered multiple blunt force injuries.

Quintana-Betancourt was convicted shortly after she was taken to a nearby hospital, police officials said.

According to police, Lainez-Rosales, who was described as a friend of Quintana-Bentancourt, was arrested following further investigation.

Law enforcement officials said Lainez-Rosales was charged with murder, tampering with evidence and related offenses.

He is being held at the Atlantic County Correctional Facility, officials said.

According to police, this incident is still under investigation.
