Merciful Pamela Anderson says makeup “doesn’t really make sense” in her personal life.

On Monday night, the 57-year-old “Baywatch” alum arrived at the 2024 Gotham Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, once again rocking her now-signature fresh look.

Anderson, who won an Outstanding Lead Actor award for her role in “The Last Showgirl,” spoke about wearing makeup in the film after largely going makeup-free for the past year.

“I mean…I love wearing makeup sometimes too,” she told People on the red carpet. “It has a time and a place. I just felt like it just didn’t make sense in my personal life.”

When asked what beauty means to her, she replied: “Be brave and live your dreams. It’s never too late.”

The mother of two chose a custom butter yellow Oscar de la Renta dress with a large bow at the back for the red carpet event.

Anderson styled the simple satin outfit with subtle diamond stud earrings and matching pointed pumps, forgoing any rings, bracelets, necklace or makeup for a completely naked moment.

The author of The Love, Pamela: A Memoir has been vocal about her decision to go makeup-free.

“It wasn’t about making a political statement, I just wanted my little weird face to stick out of the top of these great clothes…why am I playing the game?” Anderson told Allure in February, referencing her viral make-free moment. up at Paris Fashion Week last year.

“And the funny thing was, I came back from the shows with all these clothes on and a big funny hat and everything, and there were all these paparazzi, and then I went through a door and put on my jeans and my T-shirt, with none Makeup and…” walked out the door through the same crowd that had been chasing me, and no one noticed.”

In her latest film, “The Last Showgirl,” Anderson plays Shelley, a veteran showgirl who, after a 30-year run, has to think about her next move after her show ends.

The film hits theaters on January 10th and also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song, Billie Lourd and Dave Bautista.

Curtis has been hugely supportive of Anderson even before they became co-stars – even celebrating her 66th birthday last week with an outrageous selfie in her honor.
