Travelers chose these New Jersey landmarks as must-see hidden gems

When people come to New Jersey from another state (or in this study, another country), they want to know what places they should visit. Answers like “Jersey Shore,” “Atlantic City casinos,” or “American Dream Mall” aren’t bad, but they seem pretty mainstream.

A website called Barefoot Yachts Indonesia surveyed thousands of international travelers to find out which lesser-known attractions in the United States are preferred.

On their list of 120 “alternative travel destinations” across America, three locations in New Jersey were highlighted.
