How to enter and get the journalist cache in Duga Base

If you are looking for all the hiding places for journalists, chances are good that you have reached a dead end after reaching the military base in the Duga region Stalkers 2. The base is heavily guarded by snipers in the watchtowers who can one-shot you if you get too close to the main gate. A few soldiers also patrol the base and keep intruders away. How to safely enter the Duga region base in Stalker 2

Duga is a region in the southwest corner of the map which houses one of the journalists’ hideouts in a heavily guarded base just beyond the Burnt Forest region Stalkers 2. When players approach the base, one of the snipers will shoot at them, resulting in the immediate end of the game. However, there is a safe way to enter the base in Duga, and it can only be done secretly.

How to enter the Duga base safely Stalkers 2.

1. Approach the base from the south side and enter through a small gate, the location of which is marked on the map above.
2. Continue towards the Journalist Stash while hugging the buildings on the right to approach a warehouse.
3. Make sure you save your game before entering the warehouse as there is a Burer inside ready to fire a million bullets at you.
4. Carefully hide behind cover and approach the Burer to take him out with either 2-3 well-aimed shotgun shells to the head or a few sniper shots.

Once you’ve defeated the Burer, it’s now time to take over the journalist supply. However, along the way there is a small puzzle that players must solve in order to open the cell that contains the supply and other goodies.

How to open the cell to get the journalist cache in the Duga base

To open the cell door in the Duga base, which contains the journalist supply and a suit with high PSI protection, players must perform a series of actions.

1. First, start the generator right next to the cell in front of the containers to restore power.
2. After turning on the generator, turn around, walk forward and go to the control room in the warehouse.
3. Press the red button on the console to open the cell doors.
4. Go back to the cells and open them to finally loot the Duga Journalist Supply and PSI Protective Suit.

In the Duga Journalist Hideout, players will find a special rifle called “SA-U GABION” with some ammunition. To the left of the journalist camp, players can use the “SEVA-1 suit” from the locker that provides high PSI protection.
