The top 10 states that pay the least include West Virginia at $2.50; Georgia at $3.01; Alaska for $3.50; Illinois for $3.50; Kansas for $3.50; South Carolina for $3.70; Mississippi at $4.08; Virginia for $4.08; Kentucky for $4.33; Connecticut for $4.48; Alabama for $4.50; South Dakota for $4.56; New Mexico at $4.62; and Indiana for $4.65.

States with the most coffee shops per 100,000 residents? Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Hampshire, Idaho, Maine and Vermont.
