How to unlock floating islands in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Added in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Sew Delightful update, Floating Islands allows you to unlock new rooms to decorate your valley, but you must complete a quest first.

While there are eight different biomes to build in in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, with all the new characters, Premium Shop items, and furniture available to purchase from Scrooge, it can quickly happen that you’re stuck in your valley running out of space.

This is where the floating islands come into play, allowing you to freely dispose of any area in the valley. Each is inspired by a different biome, but to obtain them you must unlock them. Here’s how to do just that.

How to complete Islands in the Sky

Talk to Merlin

Skill / Gameloft

Once you load Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Islands in the Sky quest should appearwhich prompts you to speak to Merlin.

He will explain that he has found a way to visit the strange islands using the wishing wells around Dreamlight Valley.

Teleport to the island

With it, Go to the nearest wishing well and interact with it. Players can simply go into the Map and click on the purple icon in a biome to teleport to the well itself. Please note that this does not work in the Plaza.

Then, Interact with the Wishing Well and navigate to the Floating Islands on the far left of the tabs. Click on Plaza Island.

Place the Merlins Library

Once you get there, Merlin will be thrilled and ask you to do the landscaping and most importantly: Move the Dreamlight Library to the new islandso he can have some peace and quiet.

Skill / Gameloft

To do this, go to your inventory and select “Furniture.” Then go to “Houses” and select the Dreamlight library that looks like the building in the image above. But be warned, this will take the house out of your traditional Valley.

Then just set it down and place five pieces of furniture anywhere on the Plaza Island.

Then talk to Merlin and the quest will be complete.

How to buy more Floating Islands

After completing the Islands in the Sky quest, you can unlock the rest of the floating islands. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Go to a I wish you all the best And Interact with it.
2. Navigate to Leftmost tab that reads “Floating Islands”.
3. Select the island You need and Right-click on the PC to buy it.

Each island costs players 15,000 Dreamlight, so 45,000 Dreamlight total for the first four islands.
