Ariana Madix Feels ‘Great’ That ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Fans Finally Know About the Reboot (Exclusive)

Ariana Madix is ​​looking forward to the new chapter of Vanderpump Rules.

The announcement followed the May 11 season finale and three-part reunion, which left fans wondering if there would even be another season. As months passed without a formal announcement about the show’s future, audiences became more and more curious.

“I’m so glad people finally know what’s going on because every other day there was a new theory,” Madix said.

“It’s funny, though, because once the news actually comes out, there are new theories about the news itself,” Madix added. “But I’m glad that people and the public now know what’s going on.”

While The Hollywood Reporter At the Women in Entertainment Gala on Wednesday, December 4, Madix spoke to PEOPLE about the fan base’s passion for the series.

“That’s the best part Vanderpump Rules is that we had the most die-hard, incredible fans who just knew everything from the first season,” she said.

“They follow everything they support, they watch, they tune in, they come to BravoCon. “We meet her in such a way that it was the most incredible thing of all,” Madix remarked, before reiterating that she was “so glad there is nothing more.” I wonder for her.

Although the Bravo series brings new faces, Madix will continue to appear on the small screen. She previously told PEOPLE that while hosting last season, she also practiced for her return to Broadway encore.

In the spring she played the role of Roxie Hart on Broadway Chicago. Then in May, PEOPLE exclusively reported that she would be returning to the Ambassador Theater in New York City for another month of performances throughout August.

On Dec. 4, she told PEOPLE that her Broadway debut with her mother in the audience was the highlight of her year. She shed a tear when she spotted her mother in the crowd. “It was the best,” she said.

Since finishing her performances in August, she has spoken about what it was like to fulfill a “lifelong dream.” At TheWrap’s Power Women Summit, she joined the panel discussion “Art of Adaptation: Books, Broadway, Blockbusters & Beyond” to further discuss her Broadway debut.

She confessed that “in the beginning” she was more concerned with “doing it right and hitting everything and doing it the best way.” But over time, she “transformed” into Roxie and wanted to “take good care of her.”
