Crack fentanyl thrown from car on I-95 in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH – More than 400 grams of crack cocaine and fentanyl were seized and recovered during a recent traffic stop on Interstate 95 after a passenger allegedly threw the drugs out the window, according to New Hampshire State Police.

State Police on Wednesday afternoon reported the arrest of the two men from Haverhill, Massachusetts, on drug charges following the traffic stop in Portsmouth on Friday, November 29th. Officers stopped the driver of the car because he was driving too fast, police said.

When he was stopped, the vehicle’s passenger allegedly attempted to discard the drugs by throwing them out the passenger window. According to state police, more than 200 grams of fentanyl and approximately 200 grams of crack cocaine were later seized.

“The attempt to dispose of the narcotics was filmed on a trooper’s dashboard camera,” state police reported Wednesday.
