Apple Music Replay, the sister streaming version of Spotify Wrapped, has arrived.

Users can now get an up-close look at their Apple Music listening habits thanks to a data-driven report that reveals which artists, albums and genres they listened to most in 2024.

As a collective, Apple Music listeners flocked to pop princesses and diss tracks this year, giving Sabrina Carpenter and Kendrick Lamar top spots on the charts. Taylor Swift made it into the top five most streamed songs with a five-year-old song, up-and-comers Benson Boone and Teddy Swims made a splash with their loving ballads, and rising country star Shaboozey secured a spot at the replay table.

Here’s how to access your Apple Music Replay report and what’s new this year.

How to access Apple Music Replay

This year, iPhone users with iOS 18.1 or later will be able to access the Replay experience directly from the Music app via the Home, New, and Search tabs. Others will still need to go to replay.music.apple.com on mobile or desktop.

What’s new in Apply Music Replay 2024?

This year, the streaming giant also released a replay exclusively for artists, giving music creators insights such as: B. which of their songs were most discovered via Shazam and in which city most of their listeners live.

In addition to the “Replay for Artists” feature, this year’s reports also include an expanded “Top Listeners” list; Previously, users could only see whether they were among the top 100 listeners of a particular music number. This year there are also Top 500 or Top 1000 lists for artists and genres.

Apple Music also added Streaks, a feature that shows the longest number of consecutive days a user has played Apple Music. Streaks also extend to artists if a user has had an artist as number 1 for several months in a row.

First Play Date, another feature offered this year, shows users when they first discovered the song, artist or album that defined their listening year.

Repeat and repeat and repeat

If you want to look even further into the past, Apple Music offers an archive of a user’s replay playlists so you can rediscover your favorite songs from years past.

But beyond the personalized playlists, Apple Music users as a collective are setting bigger trends for 2024. More women reached the year-end global songs charts than ever before, the streamer announced in a press release, and many of the top spots went to artists, which had never made it into the year-end charts.
