Can you guess what Pete Davidson bought with his first SNL paycheck and how much it was?

Pete Davidson recently went back in time and talked about how much he was paid for Saturday Night Live. The actor, who is one of the most renowned comedians today, starred in the NBC sketch show from 2014 to 2022.

As seen on Instagram, the Bodies Bodies Bodies actor shared how much he earned for each episode of SNL in a video for New York Magazine.

“Do you know what they pay us? It’s like three grand an episode,” the Big Time Adolescence actor said in the social media video clip.

Davidson then recalled what he bought with his first paycheck from Saturday Night Live: “I think I got dinner!”

Pete Davidson’s sketch on the aforementioned show includes Roundtable and Jasmine and Alladin.

In addition to The Suicide Squad actor, other stars previously linked to the series had also spoken about what they bought with their first SNL paycheck.

In the same video, former Saturday Night Live cast member and writer Jason Sudeikis recalled paying the rent on his New York City apartment, which was the “biggest purchase I made after my first year on SNL had written”.

Meanwhile, even Rachel Dratch was using her money to pay the rent on her apartment.

Other SNL stars like James Austin Johnson, Sarah Sherman, Seth Meyers and Cheri Oteri also shared what they bought with their first paycheck.

According to Oteri, she had purchased a sofa that she had “reupholstered three or four times.”

In the video, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bowen Yang and Sarah Silverman mentioned that they chose to purchase something luxurious instead.

Louis-Dreyfus stated that she purchased a pair of shoes that were out of her budget, while Yang also purchased “a pair of Gucci shoes.”

Pete Davidson talks about his time on the highly acclaimed TV show and is known for bringing many memorable moments, such as his Weekend Update.
