Former DJ launches wellness brand to combat Long Covid symptoms

A former DJ who once hosted the Miss World pageant has spoken about his battle with Long Covid since contracting the virus in March 2021.

Brave East London resident Rowan Bradley revealed he was unable to walk down the stairs in his own home and unable to speak due to breathing problems and had to communicate with people via text message.

Before contracting the virus, Rowan led a vibrant life with his own recording studios, frequent performances around the world including Canada and Spain, and multiple music releases.

Rowan said:

“My life was crazy, I wouldn’t stay in one place for long because everything was so crowded, my goal was to become a resident DJ at a hotel in Las Vegas, which I can’t even imagine doing now.”

Since his life took a drastic turn, he suffered from a number of debilitating illnesses including chronic pain, fatigue, migraines, nausea, vision problems and neuropathy, which resulted in him losing his income due to his limited ability to work.

That’s why Bradley, 33, has dedicated his time to relieving these symptoms and is sharing it with other sufferers with the launch of his self-funded online health and wellness store.

ELIXER is a British-made brand dedicated to developing innovative, ethically produced products for pain relief, anxiety management, longevity and performance enhancement.

“The brand was founded with the belief that health products not only work, but should also be made with integrity, sustainability and care,” says founder Rowan.

With no official diagnosis for Long Covid available and the lack of support from doctors, Bradley sought advice from his community of chronic sufferers, with whom he communicated on social media, to realize that a solution to pain management needed to be found.

The range he created includes organic CBD oil, Maximum Recovery Pain Relief Cream, sleep aid CBD tablets and those that focus on cellular and brain health. All are ethically sourced and third party tested.

A long-time Covid-19 advocate, after hearing hundreds of stories since speaking openly about his condition, Bradley hopes the products can “help the millions of those affected lead a normal life” and, for him personally, an opportunity , to continue his previous successful career.
