Too bad, New Jersey! You can’t ride the best roller coaster for daredevils

🎢 NJ Six Flags Roller Coaster Named #1 for Adventure Seekers

🎢 In a new study, 100 out of 100 points were achieved

🎢 Only the second fastest roller coaster in New Jersey remains

New Jersey is home to the most exciting roller coaster in the United States. But if you haven’t experienced it, you never will.

PlayNJ.com examined over 430 roller coasters from 113 theme parks across the United States for its new study.

They rated each roller coaster based on its height and speed to determine the best one for daredevils.

Only one trip achieved the maximum score of 100 points. And it’s at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson.

The Six Flags Great Adventure ride gets a perfect score

According to PlayNJ.com, Kingda Ka is the best roller coaster for daredevils.

The incredible top speed of 128 miles and dizzying height of 456 feet made Kingda Ka the clear frontrunner. Its 90-degree spiral drop was an unparalleled thrill and made every park visitor think twice about heading to the concession stands beforehand.

The only problem is that the winning coaster closed forever less than a month ago. Six Flags said costly maintenance and technical problems forced the shutdown.

The data was compiled by PlayNJ.com before Six Flags officially announced the ride’s closure on Nov. 14.

Six Flags says a new “multi-record-breaking launch coaster” will open in 2026 to replace the titan that reigned for 21 years.

This makes Nitro the fastest vehicle at Six Flags Great Adventure. Riders can still have fun going 80 miles per hour at a height of 230 feet.
