Why? There are likely several reasons that come together to create this once-per-generation alignment.

Humans are emotional creatures. We make most of our decisions based on emotions and then justify those decisions with reason and logic. Economists may tell you that markets are driven by factors such as supply and demand, interest rates, money supply and monetary policy, and while these can have varying degrees of impact, the overarching driver of an economy is emotions. Emotions such as hope, fear, optimism, greed and trust will have a major impact on the prosperity of an economy.

Remember, in the early days of the COVID scare, there was a run on toilet paper. Someone thought that toilet paper was essential to fighting the virus, so they loaded their shopping cart with bales of toilet paper. Nearby shoppers saw this and decided they needed toilet paper before supplies ran out, causing carts made of double-layered quilted softness to attract news media attention. The fear of not having enough toilet paper spread nationwide faster than any virus; all due to an irrational emotion outside the logic of economic analysis.

Charisma is the combination of empathy and power. As a real estate developer, Trump had extensive and direct contacts with workers in the skilled trades. This has given him the ability to communicate with the common man. He understands them and in return they value his empathy and are drawn to his leadership. This is the basis of his broad popular support.

People don’t like it when you lie to them, and they like it even less when you force them to lie.

Progressive Democrats tell people that men can become women, menstruate, and even get pregnant. They say men should compete in women’s sports, which is a violation of Title 9, simply because they “claim” they are women. They promote a modern version of lobotomization involving the surgical mutilation of prepubescent children to treat the fashionable mental condition of “gender dysphoria.”

We were told that the border invasion was not an invasion. We were told that inflation was not a problem, even though prices for basic goods had almost doubled. As we watched the weaponization of a two-tier justice system, we were told that no one is above the law. We have been bombarded with a non-stop string of lies, from the “Fine People” hoax to “Trump is Hitler,” “Biden is sharp,” and “Harris will be a great president.” Anyone who dared to argue against these fallacies was labeled, shunned, and canceled.

Most of the nation knew the truth. Although they remained silent, it was clear to them that the Democrats were making fantasies. Many prominent rational Democrats recognized the reality and left the party. FRK, Rogan, Gabbard and many others have been separated from loyalty to the Democratic Party by the mendacity of the Democratic leadership.

But Trump also lies, you say. Yes, he does, like all politicians. But these lies are generally exaggerations of scale, size, or quality. You can exaggerate the size or impact of something while still staying true to the direction. Trump claimed his 2017 inauguration was the “most watched” ever, a fact that cannot be proven due to the rise of online streaming. Compared to Obama’s inauguration in 2009, fewer people were present in person on the National Mall, but who knows how many around the world were “watching” on television and the Internet.

Trump usually does what he says he will do. Building a wall, moving an embassy, lowering energy prices, reducing regulation, etc. are all promises kept. He may not be on schedule or on scale, but the effort is moving in the right direction.

Compare that to Biden forcefully declaring that he believes in the rule of law, that no one is above the law, and that he would definitely not pardon his son Hunter. We knew it was a lie and so he pardons Hunter, no joke. Not just a pardon for the gun crime, but a blanket pardon for all crimes dating back 11 years to the start of the Biden family’s involvement in Burisma. Nothing to see here folks, move on.

Democrats had built an entire edifice on the moral superiority of Biden’s declaration that “no one is above the law.” After suffering a crushing electoral defeat, the Democrats could console themselves with the belief that they were at least morally ahead. Now Biden has destroyed their refuge, leaving them gasping without leadership or a clear, unifying purpose.

Many world leaders are aware of the consequences of a Trump presidency because they have already seen it from a perspective that has been largely free of mainstream media propaganda. You know he’s serious when he talks about tariffs. They know that he is not at risk from shady political dealings with corrupt regimes. They saw how hard his opponents tried to defeat him and failed. They saw the courage shown in the first assassination attempt. They had the greatest political comeback in the history of the greatest nation. You don’t need to be lectured, convinced, bribed or persuaded. All you need to do is hear a few softly spoken words.

Trump clearly has Big Stick Energy and everyone knows it.

It’s just common sense.
