The WSU Cougars face a showdown with the Boise State Broncos at the Idaho Central Arena in Boise

LEWISTON, ID. The WSU Cougars men’s basketball team crosses state lines for their next match, this time traveling south to Boise to face the Broncos in a neutral site game.

The Cougars will be in the Idaho capital to take part in a pseudo-neutral game at the Idaho Capital Central Arena in downtown Boise.

Boise enters the match with a record of 6 and 2. The Coug’s enter the game with a slightly better record of 7 and 2.

This game will also be a preview of future rivalries.

As the Broncos will leave the Mountain West Conference to become a member of the newly constructed PAC-12 Conference for the 2026-27 season.

WSU currently holds the lead in the all-time series at 5-4.

But the Cougars must remain focused on Boise State, which will have to be happy with its own statistical leaders. Three Broncos average 10+ points.

Still, Boise will have its hands full as the Coug’s currently have 5 players averaging 10+ points.

Tip-off for the Coug’s and Broncos is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time and 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

The LCSC Warriors, both men’s and women’s, are on the road in their next games.

The No. 7 Warrior women are 15 and 2 and will face a 3-14 Northwest this Friday, Dec. 6, at noon.

After wins against Walla Walla and a week full of conference honors, they are well on their way.

Sophomore Darian Herring has already earned two conference nods and currently leads the entire CCC, male or female, in blocks.

The men’s team isn’t a problem either, with Macarhy Morris joining Herring as player of the week.

On the women’s side, the Warriors have led Series 8 and 3 against Northwest since 2003. Last month they won 79-73.

The Warrior men are 5 and 1 and will face Northwest, who are 0 and 4, this Friday, December 6th at 2 p.m.

LCSC is 4-4 against the Northwest Eagles since 2002 and unlike the women’s, the men’s teams have not met since last season when the Warriors lost 2-0 to the Eagles.
