More details emerge regarding Bronson Reed’s injury sustained at WWE Survivor Series

More information about Bronson Reed has been provided following the injury the WWE star sustained at Survivor Series.

Reed teamed with Solo Sikoa and The New Bloodline to take on Roman Reigns, CM Punk, The Usos and Sami Zayn in the show’s main event. In one of the most difficult situations of the match, Reed climbed to the top of the cage and attempted to throw a tsunami at Reigns through a table. However, Punk pulled Reigns off the table at the last second, causing Reed to fall to the mat.

After the impact, many were concerned about Reed’s well-being after landing. Triple H noted at the post-show press conference that the Australian star was being examined by the medical team, and a follow-up report stated that the WWE star was being helped on his back by his teammates as Reed had injured one or both of his ankles.

Further information on Reed was provided by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, who reports that Reed will undergo surgery “sometime next week” for the injury suffered at Survivor Series. The report also notes that Reed was originally scheduled to face Seth Rollins in a steel cage at the house show at Madison Square Garden on December 26, but that match will no longer take place.

Bronson Reed breaks his silence about the injury

The day after Survivor Series, Reed first made a brief statement on the spot that caused the broken ankle, pointing out that fans will remember the tsunami for a long time:

Injuries are temporary in nature. Moments are forever.

Ahead of the December 2 episode of Raw, Bronson Reed further commented on his injury and hoped to be back as soon as possible.

Everyone at Inside The Ropes wishes Bronson Reed a full and speedy recovery.
