Marcus Jordan and Nicole Murphy are cozying up in Miami months after their partner’s death

On Friday, December 6, the 56-year-old model and ex-wife of Eddie Murphy and Michael Jordan’s 33-year-old son were spotted together at DJ Khaled’s second annual We the Best Foundation x Jordan Golf Classic in Miami, according to photos , which The Shade Room received and shared.

The two then moved on to the E11EVEN club, where they were photographed dancing together and chatting comfortably in a niche. Marcus wore a simple black and white look with a hoodie and t-shirt, while Nicole wore a white halter dress with silver jewelry.

Representatives for Marcus and Nicole did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

While the couple has yet to publicly comment on their relationship status, they both shared updates about their time in Miami on their respective social media accounts. On Wednesday, Marcus posted photos on Instagram of his arrival at the We the Best Foundation tournament welcome reception.

“Cincoro joined @DJKhaled, @Wethebest, @Jumpman23 and esteemed attendees at a stunning welcome reception in Miami,” the former college basketball player wrote alongside a photo of himself on the red carpet. “The evening was full of celebration and bonding leading up to the We the Best Golf Classic.”

On Friday, Nicole shared an Instagram Stories post showing her beach views in Miami and also reposted some photos of her outfits from her friends.

The couple’s outing comes eight months after Nicole announced that her partner of about one year, actor Warren Braithwaite, had died. beings reported shortly afterwards that Braithwaite had died as a result of a cancer diagnosis.

The model shared the news on her Instagram Stories at the time, writing alongside a photo of herself with her late partner: “I miss you so much my love. May you rest in peace, my sweet.”

Nicole was married to Eddie Murphy from 1993 to 2005. The ex-partner has 32-year-old son Myles and daughters Bria (35), Shayne (30), Zola (24) and Bella (22).

Meanwhile, Marcus, the second son of NBA legend Michael Jordan and his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy, was recently linked to 50-year-old Larsa Pippen Real Housewives of Miami Alum and ex-wife of fellow Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen.

The two reportedly met at a party in Los Angeles in 2019 and made their relationship public in January 2023, but in July this year Larsa confirmed it Entertainment tonight that she and Marcus were no longer together.
