“Cincinnati Reds considered ‘real threat’ to trade for Garrett Crochet”

The Reds already appear to have an influx of starters on the roster, but according to MassLive.com’s Chris Costillo, they are viewed as a “real threat” to sign Garrett Crochet from the White Sox.

Terry Francona joined the Hot Stove last week and discussed his approach to pitching.

“When you think you’ve had enough pitching, get more,” Francona said.

It’s worth noting that we’ve received conflicting reports about whether the Reds are still interested in the Chicago left-hander.

Crochet had a 3.58 ERA in 32 games for the White Sox in 2024.
