Atlee thanks Shah Rukh Khan at Baby John event: ‘He made my Bollywood dream possible’

Atlee, the acclaimed filmmaker behind Jawan, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Shah Rukh Khan at the grand trailer release of Baby John starring Varun Dhawan in the lead role.

Varun Dhawan is all set to make a grand return to the big screen with his much-awaited film Baby John. To increase the excitement among the fans, the makers have been releasing songs continuously and today the action-packed trailer was released at a grand event that oozed glitz and glamour. The event was attended by lead actors Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi along with hosts Atlee and producers Murad Khetani and Priya Atlee, who joined an enthusiastic crowd in Pune to unveil this cinematic spectacle.

Atlee, who wrote and produced the film, took the opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to the key players who have shaped his journey in the industry. Paying tribute to Shah Rukh Khan, who worked with him on Jawan, Atlee shared, “Shah Rukh Khan sir. Without him, I wouldn’t have come to Bollywood and wouldn’t have made a film. And now I am producing a film thanks to Shah Rukh sir. Wherever you are, please bless us.”

The acclaimed director further acknowledged other influential personalities in his career and said, “And then the second thanks goes to Mr. Thalapathy Vijay, my brother. He is my heart, he is my soul. He is everything. Whatever I have today is all thanks to him. So thank you very much to him.” Atlee also thanked Salman Khan, who makes a special appearance in Baby John: “Salman Khan sir has a big heart to be a part of Baby John. Highlighting Varun Dhawan’s faith in him, Atlee added, “After Jawan was released, everyone believed in me. But before Jawan, Varun Dhawan was the man who believed in me. One promise I make is that we will create another superstar. To put it simply, I believe that with God’s blessings, what Animal did for Ranbir Kapoor, Baby John will do for Varun Dhawan.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Baby John, an exciting mix of action, family drama, humor and music. Helmed by director Kalees, the film promises to be a fast-paced entertainer backed by a meaningful message. Legendary composer S. Thaman has delivered a thrilling background score and chart-topping tracks that enhance the film’s emotional and action-packed sequences.

Varun Dhawan’s grand entrance at the event coupled with his flawless dance moves alongside Wamiqa Gabbi to the chart-topper Nain Matakka further ignited the energy in the room. Fans chanting “Good Vibes Only” added to the electric atmosphere and made the event a true celebration of cinema.
