Ballerina – New look at Ana de Armas in the John Wick spinoff

A new story from the John Wick The universe will hit our screens in 2025, starring Ana de Armas ballerina as Eve, an assassin who wants revenge on the people who killed her family.

Director: Len Wiseman, ballerina is produced by John Wickis Chad Stahelski and features appearances from Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus with Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves alongside de Armas.

In the bigger picture of John Wick, ballerina takes place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellumand Lionsgate has released an extended teaser that shows a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film and includes interviews with Stahelski, de Armas, Reddick, Wiseman, Reedus, McShane and producer Erica Lee.

The action-packed featurette was screened at CCXP as part of the final panel on the Thunder Stage, with Ana de Armas, Ian McShane and Len Wiseman in attendance, who also paid tribute to the late Lance Reddick.

“One of the most fascinating things in the franchise to me is the world creation,” Stahelski says at the start of the preview, “ballerina gives us the chance to explore this world.

The film’s first trailer was released in September, and this new extended look builds on what we’ve already seen by showing us how the action came together, including a preview of de Armas practicing the stunts, a staple of the film John Wick Universe.

Additionally, we took a look at some new stills from the film.

Lionsgate also shared a picture of Ana de Armas on set with director Len Wiseman.

ballerina is scheduled to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.
