The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority warned residents that home care and other services could be delayed or stopped after the snowstorm.

The large amount of snow could make it difficult for service providers to travel and make it difficult for them to access customers’ homes until the snow is cleared, the WRHA said.

“Every effort will be made to adhere to existing schedules. However, some weather-related delays or cancellations may be unavoidable,” the health authority said in a news release Monday morning.

The WRHA said it will contact all customers whose visits are postponed or canceled by telephone.
