Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.2 includes a Balatro crossover quest

When starting the game after the update Cyberpunk 2077 Players receive text messages from someone named Jim B asking them to find graffiti Balatro Logo throughout Night City. After tracking down several of these clown brands using only vague photos of Jim B, you’ll be rewarded with a new t-shirt featuring a cyberpunk-style Joker and a Balatro Decoration for your apartment.

“A while ago I asked CD Projekt Red’s quest design team, ‘You like the cyberpunk maps in Balatro?’ What if we had Balatro maps in Cyberpunk 2077?’” wrote CD Projekt Red global PR director Radek Grabowski on X (formerly Twitter). “Thanks to the talented quest designer Maria Mazur, we now have the Balatro quest in Update 2.2. Great job, Maria!”

The Cyberpunk 2077 And Balatro The teams previously collaborated on a special card set designed for its second Friends of Jimbo update, adding custom art by Jackie Welles, Rogue Amendiares and Johnny Silverhand to the Jack, Queen and King of Spades.

“Just like the maps from The Witcher and Cyberpunk Balatrothe “Cyberpunk Joker” that you can discover now Cyberpunk 2077 as part of Update 2.2 was created internally by Olgierd Ciszak – one of CD Project Red’s talented artists,” Grabowski wrote in a follow-up post.
