Get the Fire Max 11 tablet at a record price

Amazon’s Fire tablets are pretty affordable to begin with, but on Black Friday you can really buy them at their lowest prices. The company’s most powerful tablet, the Fire Max 11, is currently down to a record low of $140 thanks to Amazon’s Black Friday deals. That’s a discount of 39 percent.

This is a relatively new entry into Amazon’s tablet library, released just last year. The Fire Max 11 features a large 11-inch LCD screen, a slim aluminum frame, and plenty of smart home controls. Of course, it can be integrated into Alexa for voice control. This is the cooler and more sophisticated brother of the Fire 10 and Fire 8 tablets.

The tablet uses an octa-core MediaTek processor and weighs just over a pound. There is a fingerprint sensor, support for WiFi 6 and 4GB of RAM. It runs Fire OS 8, which enables split-screen and picture-in-picture features. This allows users to work on some emails while keeping an eye on a YouTube video, for example.

The tablet has an integrated keyboard and a pen, although these cost extra. There are some minor disadvantages. First of all, this is an ad-supported model that throws advertisements on the lock screen. In my experience, these are surprisingly unobtrusive. I hate advertising and barely notice it. This sale also applies to the 64GB version. That’s not a lot of space, but the tablet has a microSD reader for up to 1TB of additional storage.

There are currently a whole range of Amazon items on offer for Black Friday. These deals include the $130 Kindle Paperwhite and the $23 Echo Dot.
