Paris Jackson And Justin Long brought their low-key romance into the spotlight with the news of their engagement.

In December 2024, Jackson announced that music producer Long (not to be confused with the actor) Justin Long), popped the question through a sweet Instagram birthday tribute. “Happy birthday my sweet blue,” she captioned never-before-seen pictures of them from over the years. “Life with you over the last few years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect person to do anything with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”

Paris is the second oldest of Michael Jackson‘s three children. The legendary pop star, who died in 2009 aged 50, shared Paris and son Prince with his ex-wife Debbie Roweand welcomed son Bigi via surrogate in 2002.

Paris has mostly kept her love life private over the years, only sharing a few snaps of Long on Instagram before announcing her engagement. Over the years, she has dated musicians Michael Snoddy And Gabriel Glenn and was romantically linked to supermodel/actress Cara Delevingne in 2018.

June 2022

According to rumors, the couple started dating around June 2022. This month, Long shared his first Instagram post about Paris, praising her performance The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonwhere he worked as a sound engineer.

November 2022

Paris included a snap of her and Long posing with her bandmates in an Instagram slideshow of random life photos. “The most fun, all the gratitude ❤️,” she captioned the post.

February 2023

Long was featured in another Instagram carousel from Paris, which she captioned, “Happiest when I’m with you.”

May 2023

Long worked on the sound mix for Paris’ set at the BottleRock music festival and shared pictures and clips of herself at work via Instagram. Paris, for her part, tagged Long’s Instagram profile in a video of her appearance.

August 2023

Long shared a rare Instagram snap of himself and Paris in which he appeared to be helping her repair part of her outfit backstage at a performance.

September 2024

Paris was spotted showing off what appeared to be an engagement ring at Paris Fashion Week, although she didn’t address the speculation at the time.

December 2024

In addition to announcing the couple’s engagement through a birthday Instagram post, Paris took to her Instagram Story to share more pictures and clips from her and Long’s relationship, writing, “bday❤️.”
