Weather in Dallas: Warm weekend in December

It’s going to be a warm December weekend in Dallas-Fort Worth and some people could even see rain.

Saturday morning will be gray and damp in most areas, but some areas east of Dallas will see rain.

We expect the sun to shine in the afternoon as a weak front moves through from the northwest.

When the sun returns, temperatures start at around 60° and rise to near 70° in much of the area.

It will be a great afternoon and evening doing things outdoors.

Clouds will move back on Sunday and there is a slight chance of a few showers. There will be some downpours in the afternoon and temperatures will rise back to 70 or higher.

Another cold front will move in during the night from Sunday to Monday, with a series of showers possible in around 50 to 60 percent of the area.

Monday starts off very warm with temperatures in the 60s.

Temperatures are also expected to be around 60°C on Tuesday before a cold front breaks through. The front is expected to bring rain Tuesday night into Wednesday, with northerly winds and cooler air returning in the afternoon.

Temperatures should return to normal toward the end of the week, reaching highs in the mid to upper 50s.
