Margot Robbie’s .4 billion box office hit is enjoying streaming success on its first new platform

Barbie Last year, the film took the world by storm by grossing nearly $1.5 billion at the box office before debuting a few months later on Max, where it has been streaming exclusively for a year. Although Barbie Hasn’t left Max, as of this week she’s still partying with Ken on a new streaming platform, Netflix, where the quirky comedy is currently showing the sixth most popular film. Barbie follows Barbie and Ken on their journey into the real world as they discover that things outside of Barbieland aren’t quite as simple as they thought. The film stars of 2023 Margot Robbie And Ryan Gosling starred Barbie and Ken and scored strong ratings of 88% from critics and 83% from general audiences on the aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes.




Greta Gerwig directed Barbie and also wrote the script together with her husband Noah Baumbach. Gerwig has directed four films throughout her career since 2008, making her feature film debut in 2008 nights and weekendsthe romantic drama in which she also starred Joe Swanberg And Jay Duplass.
