Giving something back to those who are committed to change. Miranda Lambert is a badass country musician but has a soft side when it comes to dogs. Since co-founding MuttNation in 2009, Miranda Lambert’s mission has been to raise awareness about animals in shelters, help four-legged friends find their forever homes, and provide financial support to local animal shelters so they can continue to adopt dogs can save. This year, Miranda Lambert brought a special friend and dog lover with her during Lambert’s third annual Big Shopping Day at Tractor Supply: Ella Langley to purchase gifts, food and toys for local shelters in Nashville. “It’s our third annual big box store for local Nashville animal shelters. I brought a special friend who also loves rescue! Miss Ella Langley. We are sisters in country music and in dog love.” Lambert said as cameras followed the two women at Tractor Supply, highlighting some of the treats dogs, puppies, kittens and cats receive at shelters. After shopping, Santa arrived early and the two women personally delivered all the goods to the animal shelters and cared for some of the animals while they were there. While these two did something great on MuttNation’s big shopping day, Lambert had another surprise for Langley that day. MuttNation gave a $5,000 grant to Ella Langley’s nonprofit rescue organization. “You already know that Ella Langley is a badass, and what makes her even tougher is the fact that she is a founding member of the Pawsitive Rescue Division – a rescue group here in Tennessee.” They’re just getting on their feet, so MuttNation surprised them with a $5,000 grant to help them continue to grow.” https://www.instagram.com/p/DDznMJLRHun/?img_index=6 Ella Langley has two dogs and, like Miranda Lambert, is passionate about finding forever homes for all dogs. When she’s not traveling, she spends her free time finding homes for these adorable dogs and advocating for people to adopt them instead of buying them. After months of posting dogs available for adoption on her page, she announced this fall that she is a founding member of Pawsitive Rescue Division, a Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization. “I know you may have seen me posting about these sweet dogs up for adoption and I am so excited to finally announce that I am a founding board member of the Pawsitive Rescue Division! Animals have always been something I am passionate about, and I am so excited about this journey. https://www.instagram.com/p/DBMYpgkx4Kk/ MuttNation’s generous grant not only helps Langley’s organization get back on its feet as it has recently gained momentum, but also shows the support of Lambert, which she hopes will support Pawsitive Rescue The division can make a meaningful difference within the rescue community. According to Pawsitive Rescue Division’s Instagram page, they have already helped numerous dogs find their forever homes, and with this great project their mission can continue to grow while helping furry friends. https://www.instagram.com/p/DDx7SHxxt9V/ Check out some of the comments highlighting these two women and their mission to support animal shelters. “LOVE! I can’t wait to work together!” “Our hearts.” “I love Ella even more!”
